This is the original SAATB score recorded by The Real Group in 2009. The composition uses a bumble bee as a metafor to deliver the message that we must have a humble attitude towards life and be grateful for the fantastic gifts we have been given.
The music has a rapid wing-like rhythm pattern to reflect the bumble bee and her busy work flying from flower to flower. The music changes key just like the flowers in the meadow change colour.
The score is available in several versions for young voices and simplified mixed chorus. There is also an optional piano part. All scores can be performed together.
